A Child’s Voice Foundation (the “Foundation”) is committed to protecting the privacy of those it serves and those from whom it receives donations or time based resources.
The Foundation receives personal information from donors, volunteers and recipients of the Foundation’s programs through telephone, personal contact, correspondence, online contact, event registrations or other forms of communication. By “personal information,” we mean any information that can be used to identify or contact a specific individual. This personal information may be recorded for the purpose of processing donations, receipting them, recognizing a contribution, registering participation in a meeting or an event, or acknowledging and responding to information requests about the work of the Foundation or its programs.
Personal information gathered by the Foundation is kept in confidence and will never be shared, traded, sold or used in any manner not described in this policy or otherwise expressly approved by you.
The Foundation maintains records of all donations made to it, as required by the Canada Revenue Agency. All personal information collected is retained under the supervision of theAll personal information collected is retained under the supervision of the Executive Director of the Foundation.
All employees and volunteers are required to abide by the Foundation’s confidentiality policy which provides for the protection of personal information of donors or those accessing the services of the Foundation. You will not receive marketing email from this organization unless you have consented to receive it. Individuals have the right to remove their names from the Foundation’s mailing list and a right of access to any personal information about themselves that have been retained by the Foundation. The Foundation will not provide donors’ personal information with third parties unless:
